Help Risen Christ to celebrate the feast day of its patron saint, St. Mary Magdalene.

Mary Magdalene was a devoted follower of Jesus whose life was radically transformed when He healed her from seven demons. Her gratitude became a life of unwavering loyalty; she supported His ministry, stood by Him at the cross, and was the first to witness His resurrection. All four Gospels affirm her presence at these pivotal moments, highlighting her unique role as one of the few named female disciples and a key figure in the early church.

Enjoy a tasty lunch with Father Ben after the noon Mass.  Partake in good food and good conversation with other parishioners.

It is never too late to join the Walk to the Ends of the Earth.

Collect your materials and instructions, then begin walking. (Note: other aerobic exercises such as; swimming, tennis, basketball, biking, gardening etc. will be given a mile credit for every 20 minutes). Young children can also participate by doing a good deed or doing chores or just going outside and running around!

Pick up the materials (geographical information, weekly mileage form and prayer intention) in the Narthex weekly.

Each Saturday or Sunday for 12 weeks, turn in your miles in a designated basket in the Narthex.

Watch the miles accumulate as each person contributes to our journey. These miles will be plotted weekly on the map located on a kiosk in the Narthex.

If you go on vacation, you can turn your mileage records in when you return.

If you have any questions ask a member of the Health Ministry team. You can call or text Pat Taylor at 208-272-0730, or  Terry Gallaher at 208-850-6961.

Hopefully, once this twelve week period is finished, we will have developed habits of praying as we go about our daily activities. In addition, the opportunity to continue exercising frequently can contribute to our physical health. Have fun following in the footsteps  of Christ, as you “Walk to the Ends of the Earth.”
