Catholic in Recovery (CIR) provides hope and healing for individuals and families seeking freedom from addiction, compulsions, and unhealthy attachments. Rooted in Catholic tradition and guided by the transformative power of the Sacraments, CIR is dedicated to supporting every person on their unique journey, from those beginning recovery to those with years of sobriety, from Catholics returning to the Church to lifelong believers. CIR welcomes everyone into a faith-filled, compassionate community.
In the spring of 2025, CIR will be hosting retreats at Our Lady of Peace Retreat House in Beaverton, Oregon. The Men’s retreat will take place from March 28 to March 30, and the Women’s retreat from April 11 to April 13. Each retreat offers a space to encounter God’s healing presence through talks, personal testimonies, and the Twelve Step principles, uniquely woven with Catholic faith. Through prayer, reflective time, and opportunities for the Sacraments, retreatants are encouraged to journey deeper into healing. Fellowship with others creates a profound sense of belonging, and therapy sessions invite personal exploration and strength.
