Office Administrative Assistant

Risen Christ Parish is seeking a part-time Office Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for both daily parish operations and our upcoming capital campaign. This role, reporting to the Coordinator of Parish Life, involves a variety of responsibilities including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, tracking donations, and generating acknowledgments for the capital campaign.

Additionally, the assistant will be vital in organizing parish events, from set-up and clean-up to recruiting volunteers and ensuring facility security.

Beyond event and campaign support, the administrative assistant will manage the church management system (Power Church), maintaining parishioner information, pledge entries, and sacramental certificates. They will also handle general office duties such as, answering phones, and front desk coverage, as well as assisting with collection counting and bank deposits. They will ensure compliance with Safe Environment policies for all staff and volunteers. The ideal candidate will be an active and practicing Roman Catholic who demonstrates our parish values, has strong project management, interpersonal, and MS Office skills, with a flexible schedule for occasional nights and weekends.
